Atlantic Canadians are some of the nicest, most creative and entirely inviting people you’ll find across the country. This holds true for the people that call the region of Northern New Brunswick home. A group of very lucky bloggers gathered last week to experience a taste of Northern New Brunswick as we were introduced to those who champion and promote the region’s diverse attractions. From food and drink to music and merriment, here’s a look at what you can look forward to as you plan your trips out east this summer.
We had such a great time getting to the chefs and the people who are so passionate about their neck of the woods.
We rolled away from an abundance of cheese, bread, meat, fiddle heads and so much more.
Of course there’s always time for a photo-op!
And we must not forget that the east coast is one great place to find some great drinks!
During the evening we discovered attractions that span the entirety of Northern New Brunswick. From Campbellton to the Acadian Peninsula, here’s a quick look at some of the beautiful places waiting to be explored.
Take a long walk through Edmundston before stopping for a pint at one of their renowned microbreweries.
The Acadian Peninsula gives you a peek into the past or you can spend your days kite surfing. There’s something for everyone!
Campbellton offers outdoor sports enthusiasts even more fun things to do like the Sugarloaf Bike Park.
In Miramichi you can spend your days relaxing on the water and watching the magnificent sunsets over the Centennial Bridge. It’s breathtaking.
If eating, drinking and watching a good show is more your thing, Bathurst is the place to be. But as with the rest of Northern New Brunswick, there’s plenty to do and see outdoors as well.
Stay tuned as DJNL travels out to New Brunswick later this summer to experience it for ourselves. We highly recommend that you do the same. Summer can’t come quick enough.
