Diane Coudé is an artist who wears many colourful hats. She continues to lead a very successful teaching career, keeps company with some of Quebec’s most prolific names in culture, music and art and now she is about to expose her own work in her first solo vernissage featuring some of her favourite chosen moments, painted delicately on canvas.
Diane’s effervescent spirit and flair for the eccentric makes her a joy to be around. This effervescence transforms into profound solitude, as her works are reflections of those quiet moments in life that we can never seem to get enough of. Her paintings are deeply calming as they play with warm light, each one in its own way feeling like a moment of captured quiet.
The artist’s work will be exposed from the 1st to the 23rd of August at Maison et jardins Antoine Lacombe in Joliette with the vernissage happening on August 2nd from 1pm to 5pm.
