Nolana

I’ve been meaning to try Nolana for quite some time. The Italian restaurant on McGill Street in Old Montreal has been open for a few years now and every time I’ve walked by I’ve been captivated by the decor and how people seem to be enjoying themselves so much. Last week I finally got my chance to go when a small group of us were invited to sample their new Relâche Gourmande menu. The menu is designed specifically for the up coming reading week and if you’ve never been to the restaurant or you’ve been meaning to go, now is your chance.

unspecifiedRunning until March 12th you can treat yourself to a 4 course meal at Nolana for only $31 and the best is part is kids up to 12 years old eat for half that price. It’s a great way to break up the week and get out for an early night on the town.

unspecified-1The menu choices include a wonderfully fresh fennel salad, a tomato sauce covered, savoury meatball, a light plate of gnocchi and a selection of delicious pizzas to choose from. There’s also a selection of homemade Italian donuts for dessert that you’ll want more of, believe me. I tried both the Margarita and the sausage pizzas and they were both very good. The crust is done just the way I like it which made me regret not coming to the restaurant sooner.

unspecified-2I’ll be back for more and I will definitely try to make it back again before March 12th to take advantage of this pretty spectacular deal! Learn more about the second edition of Relâche Gourmand here
