For the 3rd year in a row, chef Laurent Godbout has treated Montreal to his contemporary take on the classic cabane a sucre menu with Chef à l’érable. The menu is out of this world good (you can get more info on that here) and people from across the city have been lining up since March 6th to get a coveted spot at one of the communal tables that have temporarily been set up at la Scena in Old Montreal.
Here’s a look at the packed launch featuring local celebrities, media, foodies and more! It was the place to be last Sunday as the sun beamed down its first promising rays of spring sunshine!
Featuring a 5 course meal with international inspirations that span from a delicious maple infused won ton soup to caramelized squash with quinoa and ending with a divine creclair (a mashup of a crepe and an eclair – filled with praline creme and maple), this was the best Chef à l’érable to date! Here’s a look at the full menu.
