Coming up this Sunday (September 8th) Terrace Bonsecour will play host to Montreal’s 5th annual Oysterfest. The daylong event has grown over the last five years and once again it will be a great way to cap off an awesome summer.
Kicking off at 1pm and going all day long, the festival will welcome oyster lovers from around the world and in keeping with the last four years, 100% of the proceeds from the event will go to Open Pier, a non-profit organization dedicated to aquatic sustainability. This unique one day event gathers oyster shuckers, restaurants, chefs, DJs, wine importers and more to enjoy the daylong oyster-centric activates.
Some highlights that attract hundreds of people to the Oysterfest are the shucking competition, the wonderful food and drink prepared by some of Montreal’s most celebrated chefs and poured by some of the city’s friendliest bar staff, the Motts Clamato Caesar Throwdown which invites Montreal’s best mixologists to pour up their version of the popular cocktail and much more.
You can check out their website for more info or you can purchase your tickets here.
This Sunday, good times and a good cause will go hand in hand.
