Taverne Gaspar

Taverne Gaspar recently celebrated their second birthday with a special two-for-one big bang!

As always, Gaspar proved that turning two was no sweat for one of Old Montreal’s most modern pubs. As part of their anniversary celebrations, they launched a bottled version their house beer, Gaspar Lager and stopped at nothing to make sure everyone was having a great time while enjoying cool company, savory food and of course plenty of deliciously smoky Gaspar Lager.

Coinciding with the birthday bash was the second last Biere Brisset (BB has been travelling some of the coolest bars of Montreal promoting their fantastic microbrewery beer and in doing so helping us discover some great new places!) of the summer season, which meant that the crowd was bigger, but so was the fun. Having a Biere Brisset on hand only served to fan the flames of an already smoking night!

The packed crowd listened to live music which rattled the rafters (and was headed by my very talented friend Patrick Lesyk) throughout the evening as they crowd chatted around their freshly poured pints and wonderful canapés prepared on the spot!

Turning two isn’t that terrible after all!
